That’s why MD5 is launching X-Force — the Department of Defense’s 2019 Technology Fellowship. Joining the X-Force puts talented students against national security challenges from military units to get solutions. Whether they have skills crafting a modern social media strategy, solving the military’s web/mobile/app development problems, researching a tech topic of need for military commanders, or rapidly prototyping a hardware solution, we want them.
Department of Defense Paid Summer Fellowship
The MD5 X-Force Fellowship Program is a funded summer fellowship opportunity where university students embed with military commands for applied national security problem- solving. During the fellowship, participants will embed with military commands to develop solutions around the real-world problems facing their unit. Fellows will work in close collaboration with their Department of Defense sponsors but will also be required to be self-directed and entrepreneurial. By the end of their fellowship, participants will have developed and demonstrated a prototype capability for their assigned command.
