ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support to customers and internal staff by telephone, email and site visits
• Perform the installation, commissioning and upgrades of Kongsberg maritime products
• Document upgrades and changes made to customer equipment following service and installation visits
• Update and maintain service database
• Promote improvements, upgrades and after sales opportunities to customers
• Train customers on the operation of newly installed systems
• Work with engineering on product improvements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required, BS degree is desired
• Must be a US citizen that is able to be cleared at least to the Secret Level

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including computer literacy
• Able to handle several activities simultaneously
• Able to work alone and with a team
• Good customer support and people skills
• Able to travel, often at short notice
• Basic understanding of multibeam systems and commercial fishing electronics

Expected Pay Range:

$31-40/hr

Lynnwood, WA

Travel within US and Internationally may be required
