Learn More: https://www.mathworks.com/company/jobs/resources/applying-and-interviewing.html#onboarding.MathWorks is looking for an experienced program manager who will work collaboratively with global key academic leaders and educators to help scale our support to the educator’s community. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding educators and their needs, evolving our educator engagement program strategy, establishing and managing engagement opportunities with communities and digital platforms and executing physical events for educators to drive adoption of MathWorks products or teaching and learning.MathWorks nurtures growth, appreciates diversity, encourages initiative, values teamwork, shares success, and rewards excellence.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a scalable model for Educator Workshops (50%):
    • Establish infrastructure to secure new teaching material and measure impact
    • Explore discipline or product specific workshops working with maths, controls, signal processing, AI, robotics, MATLAB Grader, Apps, Labs, etc.
    • Evolve the program from the current invitation-only to a public program open to all educators
    • Collaborate with Field team in Sales and Customer Success to attract participants and execute events
    • Manage worshop goals to include:
      • Enable broader adoption of MathWorks products by educators
      • Encouarage attendees to share their learnings and ideas in other events
      • Leverage existing workshop groups or conferences to reach communities
      • Identify key educators and have them become advocates and champions for teaching with MathWorks products
  • Explore, identify, and execute new engagement opportunities both as in-person events and on digital communities and digital platforms, addressing the Educator workflows for increased discoverability and product usage at scale (40%):
    • Build a framework and guidelines
    • Develop a process and plan for field deployment
  • Leverage Educator events to increase the use of our products for Community Colleges by collaborating with the Customer Success Organization (10%)

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master’s degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in/with project management

Additional Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering or science is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication in both a group and individual setting; this includes keeping others informed, involving the right people in decision making, being proactive and displaying strong initiative
  • Ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships and network effectively both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated experience in/with program management
  • Knowledge of Educator workflows in Academic settings is a plus
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for teaching and learning is a plus
  • Technical customer facing experience is a plus e.g., in customer success, application engineering, technical marketing, training, consulting or technical support
  • Experience with organizing and coordinating online/in person events is a plus
