WilderHill Clean Energy Index (ECO), where there is $1 billion in assets tracking our 2 Indexes worldwide, is looking for an Apprentice. As the first on Wall Street for climate change solutions, live since 2004, a priority of the WilderHill® Index (ECO) is to define and track the Clean Energy sector: specifically, businesses that stand to benefit substantially from a societal transition toward clean energy, zero-CO2 renewables, and conservation. Stocks and sector weightings within ECO are based on their significance for clean energy, technological influence and relevance to preventing pollution in the first place. We emphasize new solutions that make both ecological and economic sense, and aim to stay the leaders in this field.

As for duties, we’re mainly looking for a good fit between Apprentice and the work they’ll do in clean energy & sustainability – with a nexus to Finance and stock markets for climate ’solutions’. This person would also be involved in a Global Index for new energy innovation: the NEX.

This is a paid Apprenticeship in practical, applied, ‘real-world’ sustainability & stock markets. The role is flexible, and the person will potentially be involved over a spectrum of what we do, including possibly in two new environmental themes – along with an ocean conservation theme. All with fundamental connection to equities (stocks).
