DeVine is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.Our company is looking for a Program Manager to join our team in Monterey, CA. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may apply. Current secret clearance or higher is desired.The Program Manager will provide leadership to DeVine staff working in Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP), and other projects in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Oceanography and Scientific Programming. Experience managing scientific, engineering, computing and technical personnel will be crucial to our clients’ mission.Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to DeVine’s scientific and technical staff
  • Assemble response content and conduct internal reviews with senior management
  • Participate in program reviews
  • Ensure that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs
  • Act as a catalyst between the company, customers and staff to ensure continuity and quality of service

Requirements

  • M.S. degree or higher in Meteorology, Oceanography, Physical Science, or in related Mathematics and Engineering fields; or equivalent experience
  • Must have current knowledge and demonstrated experience with Navy METOC operations, operational systems, applications and requirements
  • Must have at a minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience managing scientific, engineering, computing, and technical personnel working on Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) and METOC applications development projects
  • Demonstrated experience publishing peer-reviewed scientific literature, software documentation, or Navy guides and/or handbooks (desired)
  • Navy METOC tactical applications experience (desired)
  • Current Secret Clearance or higher (desired)
