Reporting to the VP of Operations and Service, the Operations Manager, Sub-Assemblies will be responsible for leading, optimizing, and scaling sub-assembly operations by driving lean manufacturing initiatives, workforce planning, and inventory management. Leadership in this role will be key in building a high-performance culture through the implementation of Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools, facilitating Kaizen events, and coaching daily management through stand-ups and Gemba walks.

In this role, you will ensure efficient workforce management by overseeing hiring, training, and Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) to balance labor supply and demand while minimizing overtime and enhancing cross-training. Additionally, you will lead lean inventory management strategies, including the implementation and sustainability of supermarkets, to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.

Collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance production efficiency, and improve operational performance. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing a high-performing team, setting key performance objectives, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

This position is part of the Operations Management team located in Bellevue, WA and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Balancing capacity planning to optimize production efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to improve productivity.
  • Ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) to optimize labor usage while minimizing overtime.
  • Collaborating with supply chain teams to ensure a steady flow of raw materials and components.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the production team.
  • Supporting New Product Development (NPD) by ensuring manufacturing readiness for new launches.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with experience managing cross-functional teams at various levels.
  • Deep expertise in Lean methodologies, with hands-on experience in leading and implementing lean transformations.
  • Proven experience driving improvements in key operational metrics such as on-time delivery, revenue, and productivity.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $121,500.00 – $145,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
